Imagine soft greys, bold blues, and snapshots of beautiful architecture nestled inside of the classy, chic Le Meridien Hotel. September 26th 2015 couldn’t have been any more perfect for our newlyweds, John + Michelle. The colors were perfect for the couple. It represented their humble and kind yet bold, eclectic, and adventurous composition – fitting for the most perfect union.
DC landmarks became their table inspiration through their love of architecture – in 2008, John and Michelle met on the construction site of the Arena Stage Theater in DC while working for Clark Construction. Their shared love for architecture and the construction environment really helped “build” their love. They’d regularly climb the job site’s tower cranes to snap moments and take in the scenery!
John built up the courage to “nonchalantly” ask Michelle to accompany him to a NASCAR race in Charlotte, and their love and enjoyment of races grew. Fast forward through many more NASCAR races and six years later, Michelle was completely (and pleasantly) surprised during a weekend getaway at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee, where John proposed atop a hiking trail. Think back to their beginning days of climbing the tops of tower cranes to taking in the views of Washington, D.C. to being engaged with astonishing nature in the background. Well done, John!
After their honeymoon in Puerto Rico, they’ve continued their happily ever after by purchasing their first home together in Springfield, Virginia!
It’s amazing to be able to witness first hand such a perfect union of two unique, bright, and enchanting persons! Congratulations to our newlyweds, John + Michelle. Here’s to forever!
